キラキラしたものの中に垣間見る悲しさは、まるで「グレート･ギャツビー」。
This book is to enjoy the scene and feel rather than the plot. I found so many descriptions I really liked. Somehow, this book made me nostalgic that I just want to think about my childhood days and those places I have visited, especially subtle feeling of texture, scent and sound that I remembered deep in my memory.
ストーリーよりも、文章が醸し出す空気感を味わう作品。ステキだなぁと感じる場面、表現とたくさん出会いました。なぜか、自分の子供のころに訪れた場所の、空気や香りなど、感覚を記憶の底の方から呼び起こさせられるような感覚になります。
After finishing this book, I almost felt like I just watched the very beautiful great old film.
読後感はまるで、壮大な古い映画を一本み終えたような、すごくいい心地でした。
